Women Clothing Shop Keeper

Location: Hargeisa, Waaheen- Suuqa Hoose

1. Purpose of the Position:

The Clothing Shop Keeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and supporting sales activities to maximize profitability.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Provide product information and styling advice when necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain the cleanliness and visual presentation of the shop (including displays, mannequins, and racks).
• Monitor and manage stock levels; notify the manager when replenishment is needed.
• Receive, unpack, and organize new merchandise.
• Record daily sales and submit reports to the manager or owner.
• Prevent theft by being vigilant and implementing shop security practices.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
• Keep records of damaged or returned items.
• Support social media marketing and promotion.

3. Requirements:Education:

• Minimum of secondary school education. Additional training in retail or fashion is an asset.

Experience:

• Prior experience in retail or sales (preferably clothing or fashion).

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a pleasant demeanor.
• Basic math and computer literacy (POS, Excel, etc.).
• Trustworthy, responsible, and punctual.
• Passion for fashion and good sense of style.

Working Hours:

Saturday to Thursday

9-12pm, 4pm-9:30pm

Friday

5pm-10 pm

Salary: $200 including transportation
