Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Construct and install wooden frameworks and structures, ensuring precision to support concrete and other materials.
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately shape and size materials for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.
Measure and cut wood and other materials to specified dimensions, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Assemble and disassemble forms for concrete pouring, ensuring stability and safety during the curing process.
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance on-site.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and minimize hazards.
Provide training and guidance to junior carpenters and apprentices, fostering skill development within the team.
Adhere to project specifications and local building codes to ensure compliance and quality in all work.

Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
