Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
– Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities across government and public sectors
– Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to contract closure.
2. Client Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain long-term partnerships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
– Conduct regular client needs assessments and deliver customized Huawei solutions.
3. Market Intelligence:
– Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions.
– Provide feedback to HQ on product requirements and localization needs.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
– Work closely with technical, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
– Align with channel partners to expand market reach.
5. Performance Reporting:
– Track sales metrics, pipeline progress, and market share using Huawei’s CRM tools.
– Deliver monthly/quarterly forecasts and strategic reviews.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
– 5+ years in enterprise sales, preferably in ICT, telecom, or technology sectors.
– Proven track record of managing large accounts and closing deals ($1M+).
– Experience in Somalia or similar emerging markets is highly desirable.
– Strategic thinker with strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
– Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
– Technical aptitude to understand Huawei’s product portfolio (e.g., ICT hardware infrastructure/ cloud services).
– Fluency in English and Somali; Arabic is a plus.
