Docol Group is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Technician to join the Sima Hotel & Mall Project in Mogadishu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems in accordance with safety and compliance standards. This is a key technical role requiring precision, problem-solving, and in-depth knowledge of electrical systems in large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
Interpret and work from electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements of electrical components.
Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and site safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on systems.
Coordinate with engineers and project managers for timely task completion.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, preferably in commercial or high-rise construction.
Proven expertise in handling electrical systems including panels, wiring, lighting, and generators.
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Good communication skills in English..
