We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman to join our team for the prestigious Sima Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings and plans for buildings and structures based on design specifications provided by our lead architects. Responsibilities include translating design concepts into precise technical layouts, producing floor plans, elevations, and sections, and ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and construction standards.
You will utilize CAD software to create accurate documentation and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Strong technical skills, design sensibility, and a thorough understanding of construction practices are essential. This role reports directly to the lead architect or project manager.
Supervision Exercised
May oversee junior drafters or CAD technicians by reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance. Provides technical guidance and coordinates drawing deliverables across departments.
Key Responsibilities

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar CAD software.

Familiarity with BIM workflows and construction documentation practices.

Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, codes, and technical specifications.

Attention to detail and time management under tight deadlines.

Strong understanding of building materials, methods, and spatial relationships.
Education & Experience

Diploma or Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting or related field.

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is a plus.

5–8 years of experience in architectural drafting for high-end residential, commercial, or institutional projects.

Experience with local permitting and building code compliance is highly preferred.
