Invitation to Tender: Supply and Installation of Solar System – Water Source

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit competitive bids for:
Supply and installation of a complete solar-powered water supply system at Beer Abdi Farah borehole, located 18km east of Dhusamareb, Galmudug State, Somalia.
Scope of Work
Includes but is not limited to:

Supply and installation of a 15kW AC submersible pump system.

Integration of a 18.5kW 3-phase hybrid solar inverter with MPPT and AC/DC input support.
-
Installation of 22.5kW solar PV modules with support structure.

Complete cabling, safety systems, and accessories (e.g., surge protection, disconnect switches, water level sensors, borehole risers, etc.).

System commissioning, warranty provision, and documentation.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested bidders must submit:

Valid registration with Galmudug’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Tax compliance certificate from Galmudug’s Ministry of Finance.

Evidence of registration with Dhusamareb District Municipality.

Updated company profile and director ID copies.
-
Completed sections 5–9 of the tender dossier, signed and stamped.

Proof of technical capacity, experience, and financial solvency.
Evaluation Process

Step 1: Administrative compliance (mandatory documents).

Step 2: Technical evaluation (qualifications, experience, warranty & support).

Step 3: Financial evaluation (price vs. value).
Incomplete or late submissions will be automatically disqualified.
