Role Overview
Impetik is a Microsoft CSP Partner, an Odoo Partner and IT Services company providing secure cloud, ERP and workplace solutions to government institutions, regional enterprises, and private companies.
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a solid understanding of backend and frontend technologies to join our growing team in Mogadishu. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and capable of working independently or within an agile team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure digital systems
- Integrate systems and services across multiple platforms
- Participate in agile development processes and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Engineering
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, React, HTML, and CSS
- Solid understanding of backend and frontend development, APIs, and integration patterns
- Strong oral and written communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential
Additional Skills We’d Love to See (Not required but beneficial)
- Experience customizing Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HRM, CRM, etc.)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 solution development, including SharePoint, Azure, and SPFx
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
