Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically profound Senior ISP Engineer to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and continuous operation of our carrier-grade core and distribution network infrastructure. This pivotal role involves deep expertise in advanced routing, MPLS technologies, and ensuring carrier-grade performance, reliability, and scalability across all internet services.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain high-availability core and distribution network systems, including the implementation of dynamic routing protocols (IS-IS, MP-BGP) and MPLS-based service delivery frameworks (L2/L3 VPNs, Traffic Engineering).
 - Plan and execute capacity upgrades, redundancy mechanisms, and interconnection policies for backbone and edge systems. Analyze utilization trends for proactive capacity planning and SLA compliance.
 - Oversee the smooth operation of AAA/BSS platforms for subscriber authentication and policy enforcement, ensuring seamless integration with billing and customer management systems.
 - Manage and optimize enterprise monitoring platforms (e.g., PRTG/SolarWinds) for proactive fault detection, detailed performance analysis, and incident response (RCA).
 - Develop and integrate automation scripts (Python/Bash) for configuration management and routine service orchestration to enhance operational efficiency.
 
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or Telecommunications.
 - Experience: Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in ISP or Telecom network engineering.
 - Certifications: CCNP Enterprise, CCNA, MCSA, RHCE. (CCNP Service Provider is highly preferred).
