Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Mogadishu division.
Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all operational activities for the Mogadishu branchs. This position requires a dynamic, results-oriented leader who will ensure smooth and efficient operations, manage staff, optimize processes, and improve productivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, achieving business goals, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operational Oversight: Manage and monitor daily operations to ensure effective and efficient running of the Mogadishu division.
· Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise operational staff, ensuring a collaborative,
high-performance culture. Conduct training, performance reviews, and provide ongoing support.
· Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
· Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory control, including stock levels, order fulfillment, and logistics.
· Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the division maintains high standards of customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
· Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to ensure a smooth supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.
· Reporting: Provide regular reports on operational performance, sales metrics, staff productivity, and customer feedback to senior management.
· Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with the overall business strategy and ensure long-term growth.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in operations management is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in the electronics retail or distribution industry is highly preferred.
