Invitation to Bid – Supply of S4T Kits for Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) in Baidoa district, Bay region-South-West State of Somalia.
Tender Description:
Sustainable Development and Peacebuilding Initiatives (SYPD) is pleased to invite eligible and experienced suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of Savings for Transformation (S4T) Kits in support of 44 Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) groups in Baidoa, Southwest State of Somalia. This procurement is under the EMERGE Project – Empowering Marginalized Groups Through Economic Graduation in Somalia.
Scope of Supplies:
The required S4T kits include (but are not limited to):
- Stamp ink and pads
- Share and Loan stamps
- Passbooks and Register books
- Rulers, Calculators, Ball pens, Notebooks
- Padlocks, Counter bowls, and String bags
- Metal cash boxes
These items are essential for the effective operation and recordkeeping of savings groups. Eligibility & Submission Requirements:
Interested suppliers must submit: - Company Profile
- Valid Business License (Somalia)
- Tax Compliance Certificate (SW State)
- At least 1 previous NGO/UN contract or purchase order
- Bank Statement for the past 6 months
- Copy of company owner’s passport
- Signed Declaration Form
- Signed SYPD Supplier Code of Conduct
- Fully completed RFQ Price Summary Form (in USD)

All bids must be submitted before July 2, 2025 – by 11:59 PM EAT.

Important Notice: Late submissions may not be considered. RFQs sent to any address not listed in this document or submitted through alternative means will be deemed invalid and excluded from the evaluation process.
