Background

Somali-Sudanese Specialized Hospital is a General Hospital, funded by Somali business elites to meet the needs of Somali people in health care services. it has been providing health care services in Somalia since 2014. The headquarter of the hospital is at Hodan district, whereby the hospital runs four branches in the other districts in Mogadishu. The hospital covered almost a huge gap in the health care sector in Somalia, that many Somali citizens needed to go abroad for healthcare needs. The hospital absorbs and employs both qualified Somalis and expats of different nationalities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Graphic Designer,photographer & Video Editor, who can create visually compelling designs, taking attractive photoss and engaging video content that effectively communicates messages, enhances brand identities, and captures the attention of the target audience. The Graphic Designer,photographer and Video Editor job profile required you to collaborate with stakeholders, and other members of the creative team to conceptualize, design, and edit graphics and videos across various mediums.

Duties and responsibilities:

Ø   Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects that might include logos, branding materials, social media graphics, website elements, etc.

Ø  Utilize industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools to create and edit designs. 

Ø  Conduct research and gather inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis.

Ø  Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic while receiving and incorporating feedback from team members to refine and improve designs. 

Ø  Edit and manipulate video footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for YouTube and other Social media channels.

Ø  capture and produce high-quality photographs

Ø  Understand the narrative and objectives of the video content and develop a storytelling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques.

Ø  Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for video projects.

Ø  Handle camera on some occasions and capture footage as and when required for the video content.

Ø  Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Ø  Competitive analysis and making sure to create content according to the latest market trends.

Ø  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education and skill requirements:

·             A bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field.

·             Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience

·             Diploma in graphic designing is required

·             Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills.

·             The ability to operate and understand the radiographic technology and equipment
