The RoleWe’re seeking a talented Full Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in building our educational platform from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for both frontend and backend development of a platform that thousands of Somali learners will use to access quality education.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our Django-based backend systems
- Create responsive, interactive user interfaces using React.js and Tailwind CSS
- Implement state management with Redux
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure platform quality and reliability
- Collaborate with our team to build low-data consumption solutions accessible in rural areas
- Design and develop interactive, problem-solving based learning modules
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Django for backend development
- Expert knowledge of React.js and modern JavaScript
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for efficient styling
- Familiarity with Redux for state management
- Testing experience and commitment to code quality
- Passion for educational technology and social impact
