Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of duties to store, control and distribute Food Services material, consumables, and
supplies. Reviews work orders to identify items or containers to be moved and determine destination.
Receives, stores and distributes material as directed; may update documents or electronic records to
reflect material movement. Tasks may include counting, weighing, and recording number of units of
material received, transported, or present in a given location. Handles, transports and stores material as
necessary to ensure compliance with all applicable storage requirements (e.g. product temperature,
storage and handling requirements). Properly identifies and interprets information provided on material
labels, tags, and container markings. Rotates stock as necessary to ensure product is allocated for use
in accordance with proper facility storage and rotation procedures. May operate equipment and tools to
complete assigned tasks. May provide task level guidance to less experienced personnel. Performs
general labor and maintains a clean, safe facility as required.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with
the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to
project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will
possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as
necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Basic Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and
two (2) years to five (5) years related experience Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical
ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Other Job Requirements
Candidate must possess TB Med 530 – Tri Service Food Code license/certification or ServSafe cert at time of hire and maintain TB Med 530 – Tri Service Food Code license/certification or ServSafe for the duration of employment.
US Citizen who is CAC eligible
Preferred Qualifications
Food Warehouse Experience as well as working the food line in DFAC. Experience ordering food out of the STORES system.
Contingency or military experience preferred.
