Danish Red Cross is a Danish organisation with Head Office in Copenhagen. In Denmark, we create communities and help those who are most vulnerable towards a better life. We help people on both sides of a conflict and in the most remote parts of the world. We do this regardless of nationality, religion or politics.
The Red Cross is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation. Founded in 1863, the Movement consists of the 192 national societies – present in every country in the world with 14 million volunteers – the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
