Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Furniture Production Manager to establish, manage, and develop our new sofa and office furniture production lines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sofa upholstery and/or modular office furniture production, with proven experience in leading teams, setting up systems, and training staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of sofa and office furniture production facilities.
• Design and develop modern, market-competitive sofa and office furniture models.
• Train and supervise local production teams (carpenters, upholsterers, metal workers).
• Develop and implement efficient production processes, quality control systems, and finishing standards.
• Manage sourcing of raw materials (foam, fabrics, leather, wood, metal, hardware).
• Ensure products meet international quality and ergonomic standards.
• Work closely with management on product costing, pricing, and timelines.
• Continuously innovate designs to match customer preferences and trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years proven experience in sofa manufacturing or office furniture production.
• Strong technical knowledge in upholstery, cutting, sewing, foam shaping, carpentry, and/or metal works.
• Experience in managing a production team and setting up new furniture lines.
• Knowledge of machinery (CNC, cutting, sewing machines, powder coating, etc.) is an advantage.
• Ability to train and mentor staff, ensuring skill transfer to local teams.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Turkish/Chinese is a plus).
