Job Description
As a Back-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the server-side architecture of our e-commerce management platform. You will collaborate with our developers and product managers to create a scalable, efficient, and secure backend that supports multiple modules and user roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement database schemas to support various modules of the software
- Develop APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems
- Integrate with third-party e-commerce platforms and services
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive business and user data
- Design and develop automated reporting and data aggregation systems
- Create efficient algorithms for data processing and analysis
- Optimize database performance for handling large volumes of data
- Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration of all software components
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ of experience in back-end web development
- Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, MERN Stack)
- Experience with database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with API design and development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Understanding of security best practices and data protection
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
